3 Tricks to convert your Product Description into Sales

A strong product description should tell the customer exactly what the product is, how it can benefit them, and why they should purchase this product. The features should come off as benefits and help compel the customer to buy.

Don't fall into the common pitfall of most Online Marketers or Entrepreneurs. Your product description or "copy" should never just end up describing the product.

These 3 Tricks will convert your old style of product descriptions, into sales.

1. Focus on Buyer

As you write your product descriptions, you will come across the problem to explain certain qualities that won't make sense to everybody. You need to have an ideal buyer in mind.

When you have an ideal buyer in mind, you can almost imagine what the person would say in response to the information you are writing in your product conversions, this will increase your sales.

2. Make Benefits Shine

As the person writing the product description, we often are geeked up about the products individual specs and details. However the potential customer reading your ad copy doesn't know as much as you do.

Your job becomes translator. You have to find the key benefits to the customer - that is why it is imperative to know how to figure out your ideal customer.

Once you highlight the key benefit, showcase how that benefit is useful to that ideal customer. Make that feature unresistable, a must have.

Sell the experience of owning and utilizing it to the customer, don't just sell a product.

3. Quantification

Engage the reader with actual numbers. If your Product description is built to convert into sales, you can't just have phrases such as "it has helped a lot of people". Get specific, quantify. "we have helped 2000 people".

You don't have to be specific enough down to the number, but people want to know at least a range of actual facts to make assumptions by.

Another great example would be "We have _____ over 300 households."

You get the point, quantify your results to get better results.
